Minions by Engagent LLC

Amazon seller analytics, read from the seller's own account.

Minions is the Amazon analytics product of Engagent LLC. It connects to an Amazon seller's own Selling Partner and Brand Analytics data with the seller's authorization, reads it, and turns it into the inventory, advertising, catalog, and growth decisions the seller has to make each week. Every connection is read-only. Minions never changes listings, prices, inventory, orders, or campaigns.

Who it serves

Built for brand-registered Amazon sellers.

Brand owners on Seller Central

Sellers enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry who have Brand Analytics available in their own Seller Central account.

Teams running their own catalog

Operators who manage their listings, advertising, and purchasing themselves and need the reporting in one place.

One authorized account at a time

Each seller authorizes their own account. Data is kept separate per seller and is never pooled, resold, or benchmarked across sellers.

Reports and insights

The Amazon reports Minions reads, and what each one answers.

Search Query Performance

Available now

Weekly impression, click, cart-add, and purchase share for the search queries that lead shoppers to a seller's own ASINs.

Decision it supports: Shows where a listing already wins organically and where paid spend is buying traffic the catalog would have earned anyway.

Search Catalog Performance

Launching on Brand Analytics approval

The same funnel view rolled up by ASIN across the seller's catalog rather than by individual query.

Decision it supports: Identifies which products convert the traffic they receive and which need listing or pricing work before more spend.

Market Basket Analysis

Launching on Brand Analytics approval

The products most frequently purchased in the same order as the seller's own ASINs.

Decision it supports: Guides bundling, cross-sell placements, and which complementary products are worth adding to the catalog.

Amazon Search Terms

Launching on Brand Analytics approval

The top clicked ASINs and click share for the search terms relevant to the seller's category.

Decision it supports: Shows which competitors own a term and whether it is realistic to compete there this quarter.

Repeat Purchase Behavior

Launching on Brand Analytics approval

Repeat-purchase rates and unique customer counts over a chosen period for the seller's own products.

Decision it supports: Separates products that earn genuine reorders from one-time buys, which changes how much a new customer is worth.

Reports marked Launching on Brand Analytics approvalare built and tested against Amazon's report specifications but are not yet enabled for customers, because the Brand Analytics role is still under review. Minions does not describe them as live until they are. Alongside Brand Analytics, Minions also reads the seller's catalog, listing, pricing, FBA inventory, inbound shipment, order, and financial-event data through the Selling Partner API, and advertising performance through the Amazon Advertising API, in each case read-only.

How sellers authorize

The seller grants access, and can take it back at any time.

  1. The seller starts the connection

From inside Minions, the seller opens the Amazon connection and is sent to Amazon's own authorization page in Seller Central. Engagent LLC never asks for and never receives a seller's Amazon username or password.

  2. Amazon shows the seller exactly what is being granted

The seller reviews the requested read-only data roles on Amazon's consent screen and approves them there. Amazon returns an authorization to Minions; the seller's credentials stay with Amazon.

  3. Access stays read-only and scoped

Minions requests only the read roles it needs. Write operations against listings, pricing, inventory, orders, shipments, and campaigns are blocked in the service itself, not only by Amazon's permissions.

  4. The seller can disconnect whenever they want

The seller can revoke the authorization in Seller Central under Apps and Services, or disconnect inside Minions. Either action stops all further data access immediately.

  5. Deletion on request

A seller can ask for their stored Amazon data to be deleted by emailing mark@engagent.dev. Stored authorization credentials are destroyed on disconnection and the associated report data is deleted on request.

How sellers use it

Reporting is only useful if it changes a decision.

Inventory

Demand signals from search and repeat-purchase data feed the reorder conversation, so buying is based on where demand is moving rather than on last month's sales alone.

Advertising

Comparing paid performance against organic share shows which campaigns defend a position the seller already holds and which are paying for clicks the listing would win for free.

Catalog

Query and basket data show the language shoppers actually use and the products they buy together, which drives titles, bullets, images, and bundles.

Growth

Category search terms and click share make it clear which segments are contested and which are open, so expansion effort goes where it can realistically win.
